About Catherine Wright

I’m the oldest of 5 and my family means a great deal to me. I have a son who is now 14 who is the light of my life.

My career went through a transition from technology to businesses in which I was able to help people reach their goals and realize their dreams.  Through the years I realized my passion for teaching and coaching people in consciously creating more successful lives, relationships and careers. Thanks to Landmark Education, I discovered I have a gift for coaching. Between Toastmasters and Landmark Education, I was able to take my speaking skills to a whole new level. I started my own coaching business doing seminars and individual coaching, then later began doing sales training and coaching. That opened up a world of marketing, writing and networking that has served me in my more recent career as Membership Development Director for the National Association of Mothers’ Centers, a not-for-profit organization that focuses on providing mothers with the ability to connect with and learn from other mothers, discover ways to integrate work and life choices and advocate for themselves and their families on a personal, community and national level.

I have spoken for many organizations including Toastmasters, Landmark Education, ABA, IABC, Long Island Women’s Business Council where I was a board member, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hauppauge Industrial Association, Long Island Association, United Coaching Associations, Syosset Chamber of Commerce, Massapequa Kiwanis Club, Northport Rotary Club, Knights of Colombus Insurance, Stonybrook Hospital, Independent Business Women’s Circle and the Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women.  I have been a contributor to the Public Access Television show, Families In Transition. I have been interviewed on radio. I’ve done stand up comedy (no, I have no ambitions to become a comedian – but it WAS fun!).

My dream is to see families strengthened as a result of healing and putting strong core values back into our lives, our families and our communities, that our children can be raised to be respected for who they are, encouraged to follow their dreams and supported in having the most successful and fulfilling lives and relationships they possibly can. My dream is world peace and world peace starts with peaceful people who are raised in strong, stable, loving families. And the time is now to give people the support they need to let go of being run be fear and allow love to be the guiding force in our lives.  Nurturing a relationship with God has been the key to my healing, growth and success for He is the source of all blessings.

    Wow, Catherine. You write beautifully.

I more than admire and appreciate your courage to reveal your human-ness to the world (vulner-able to the max).

“…as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
